I had a similar problem...but I needed a super wide shoe EEE. Most shoe places suggest a full size or two larger to increase the width....yeah great then I have bozo shoes with and extra inch and a half in front of my toes...a great thing for a driving shoe. When my kids and I started racing karts a few years ago the kart shop owner suggested looking in to wrestling shoes, that many karters use them. What I found was tons of sizes, colors, high-mid-and low tops shoes. What is really nice is some shoes mold the soles up the back of the heal and around the sides on the ball of your foot. The sole are natural rubber also so you really get a great grip on steel pedals. They feel like you are wearing a glove on your foot.
