Reply to "dual wires and dual ballast resistors?"

On my car, the red wire goes through the ballast resistor to the "+" side of the coil, the wire from the "-" side of the coil goes back through the other side of the ballast resistor, through the moldex connector and splits (blue wire supplys the tach and heavier black wire goes to the distributor).
