E-brake bracket prevents oil pan removal?

trying to remove a 10 quart oilpan on 4233. i have a problem with the frontlip hitting the emergency brake bracket not letting it be removed the right way. before i cut the bracket out of the way does anybody have a sugestion or has faced the same problem
