Adam, know there are THREE different screens around, two OEM, and all with different heights over the carb. One is a full screen that came on '71s (mostly), the second was later with a 1" raised center of solid metal, and the third is either of the first two with the center cut away, to be replaced by a 14"OD x 3" high drop-center aftermarket air cleaner with two side screens that result from cutting stock screens. And all can be either chromed or black painted.
There were a few aftermarket screens made with a 2-1/2" high solid center made by Kirk Evans(?) but I haven't seen those recently. And early and late screens only ft those cars as the dimensions of the solid side pieces changed when DeTomaso took the project back.
