Reply to "Electrical - Wiper Relay"

Hi Wellis,
mine is a series 1. I thought the park function was from contacts in the wiper motor (or gearbox) itself. The relay was only for the intermittent variable speed delay. I can recall when the wiper switch on mine did not work (often) the intermittent knob was a way to energise the motor. You could always hear the relay click after the intermittent delay time had passed.

A google search reveals parking problems commonly arise from the switch being incorrect. Hopefully some of this will help.
