I was at a car show in Miami recently and the judge was an Argentine. He approached my Pantera and told me that he had been close friends with Alejandro and often stayed at his castle when in Italy. He said that the Pantera was revealed in NY at the auto show. Elvis saw the car and had to have it. It was the first Pantera in the US and he was told "no, it is our show car." Apparently, Elvis was not to be denied and the PR people insisted that Elvis be given the car, which he was given. True or not? Nonetheless, interesting bit of history if true.
