New switchs are $80 or so from Hall and it comes with a diagram as to were the wires go.Ive done a couple of these on L and pre L cars.Ive got small hands so it was not hard for me to swap.I took off the defroster duct bent the wire tabs inward a little bit,undid the plastic nut on the back of the switch,slid it down the harness,pulled the switch thru the dash with the wires still attached(it doesnt go far,maybe 1 to 1.5 inchs)swapped one wire at a time,put it back in the dash,nut on,duct on etc.Took maybe 35 minutes or so.
