Reply to "Emma's First Ride"

Johnny,
I had an old 429SCJ Fairlane Cobra that I used to take my daughter Kimberly out in when she was 1 1/2 to 2 years old. Yes, the sound of the motor would put her out in quick time, too. When we drove, she was my 'sanity' so I didn't do anything stupid.
My fondest memory of those times was when I had to downshift and open it up in order to safely pass a car on a backroad. Yes, it made quite a healthy roar.
Several miles later, She says, 'Daddy?'. I replied, 'Yes, Sweetheart!'. 'Do that again, Daddy!', she says, jerking her little arm like she was downshifting, 'Make it go VAROOOM!'.
Well, she's twenty years old now and STILL loves the sound of a V-8. From one father to another, you're training your little girl correctly. I ought to know, my own daughter is the proof of it.....
