I can make measuremnets if you like this weekend. It is deffinantly easiest to fab up real quick with the block. The 351c used angle to bolt directly to engine but the 400 was slightl;y fifferent and used a plate.

Why to the back of the bell housing? If you go this way you can roll be ZF right up to it.
