Reply to "Engine hard starting won't idle long"

This is a fairly (2 year old) Holley, Brand new power valve and gone over by a friend that used to work at Holley. I'll try the ignition and change the plugs. I'll check the timing also if I can get it to idle long enough. It must be something simple. Thanks for the input.
