As for the "spats" there are a lot of options there. You can paint them, remove, replace or modify them.

Not sure from those pics, but the car looks like it's sitting a little high. Maybe you can remove the old shock spacers which will lower it some.

Then try on the 10" rear wheels and those riveted flares might look great.
