There's a chance that it could be the coil. Shows a healthy spark when tested, but then it heats-up and fails, from an intermittant break in the Primary or Secondary windings. Do you have the coil mounted to the Engine, Intake Manifold, or worse, the Head. The Coil gets Pretty Hot, on it's own, normally, with-out being mounted to the Engine. I have my coil, a Mallory Pro-Master, mounted to the Right Side Deck Lid Hinge, using the Inner Most Bolt. It's up in a Breeze! Good-Luck locating your problem, Marlin.
