Mine did that when I first bought my car and it drove me crazy. I replaced the coil and it still did it. Then it left me stranded one evening, it would start for 10 seconds or so then die on me. I finally traced it to a faulty ignition switch. Just to be sure, I bought a cheapie generic one for $9.00 and put it on a metal bracket under the dash. Ran new wires to it and it's been fine for the past 3 months. I took the original one apart and cleaned it up, but have'nt put it back in yet. Just something you may want to check out.
