Engine Side Cover Mounting Details

Can anyone supply details and/or photos showing the details for mounting the driver side engine
shield cover to the tabs located on the firewall. See attached photo. My particular firewall does not have the hole provided for mounting the cover and I do not know whether I need spacers as well. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
