Engine Value?

I finally picked up my old 351C from the dealer where I purchased my 1974 Pantera 2 years ago. The dealer was gracious enough to park the engine which was in a big box under their stairwell until I picked it up. It is the original 351C which was swapped out in 2004 for another modified 351C (crower cam, aluminum headers etc.) The old engine looks to be in good shape for having sat for 11 years. It is now sitting in my garage and the wife wants to know why. What is the approximate value for something like this.
