If you are looking at metal working tools, there is something I have used on a regular bassis. I find these more essential if you do much metal work on a car. One is the brake/roller and cutter from Harbor Freight. I actually got this when it was on discount for $200 with free shipping. I use it to cut steel, make 2-dimentional arcs and to bend basic 90 degree angles. I have used it countless times for countless things:
