My 72 Euro GTS, has the door and window surrounds in Satin black, and the boot and bonnet were painted shiny Black?
My car is now all one colour RED.

I am told that for the satin black items, bumpers flutes and window surrounds, Satin paints are all TOO glossy and that the best way to paint them is to use a rattle can to get a more Matt effect. This does work for small areas, but for your bonnet and boot a good painter can get a more Matt paint if he is good, mine did.
