Mine were originally a poor quality Matt Black but you could not touch them without leaving a mark so I then had them painted Gloss and it did not look right but was much easier to keep clean especially after washing but Pantera ownership has nothing to do with 'easy' or 'simple' so I've had them painted a good quality mat and use a silicone blade straight after I wash the car this eliminates most of the water staining I then use a damp cloth soaked with soft water and this totally eradicates any staining. I hope this helps'
So considerations are my car only sees water maybe two or three times a year and the matt NEVER gets close to any type of wax or polish.
