Hi Dennis,

From my own research, I'm not convinced there was such a thing as a Euro-spec car. Many Mangusta's delivered new in Europe had a 302 motor similar to that fitted in a lot of cars that ended up in the USA. Some US cars were, however, fitted with modifications specifically for the North American market (bigger side marker lights and various air pumps etc. for the engine). It seems that only a tiny number were originally built with the 289 engine, maybe less than 10%.

Hope this helps but I'm sure there's someone more qualified with all the answers.
