To answer Vince's question, the paint is a urethane or 2 pack as we call it, House of Kolor candy branywine (code UK-1) over solar gold (code BC-01) The thing to remember about candy is the more paint you apply, the darker it gets.
The paint shop had finished my car and clearcoated it. When I went to see it I was not happy with the colour. I expected it to be darker. So they reluctantly keyed the clearcoat and shot another 4 coats of candy and then cleared it again.
My car has a lot of paint!
Normally the more paint you put on something the easier it chips off. This is not the case here. In fact this is the toughest paint I have ever known on a car. I have now covered 13000 miles and still have no stone chips.
