'Feel Good' Speedo

This issue has been covered before, but I thought I'd post this for your interest.

Last night I got 5012 out of the garage for a run.
I've never trusted the speedo. Now that I have a Sat Nav I thought I'd compare the readings.

Here's the results (they are approximate):

60 50
70 58

125 105

When I have used the SatNav in my modern car the speedo and SatNav agree on the speed within about 2%.

For the Pantera it's nearer 20%.

The car is completely standard original '72 with 7 & 8" campis and 275/55 pirelli P7s at the rear (which are quite close to the original rolling diameter) and a 4.22.
