I made the entire brake system in my MG restoration. I found the low cost brake flare tool almost imposible to get a good flair. I bought a better tool from Eastwood and it was worth every penny. I did not get a bad flair with the tool and it could easily be used on the car. The flair itself was thicker and more sound:
