Okay guys, I've got to replace the cam in my 351C, the motor was recently completely rebuilt. I don't think it was broken in right and wiped the lobe on cylinder 8 (lifter was chewed up). I've got a new cam, lifters, and gaskets on the way.
Any suggestions or tips for installing the new cam? I've never done anything internal motor before but am very mechanically inclined and will have an ASE certified mechanic buddy helping as well. I've got Comp Cams ZZDP oil additive and will be running some high quality break in oil as well.
Thanks,
Spencer
