I don't know hows expensive the sending units are from the vendors, but you could order a pair of them and just not hook them up. You might also look at the radiator that was in the car and see if the senders are the same size. I believe that when I bought my Phoenix radiator about 15 years ago, I took the old senders out of the stock radiator and used them as plugs. It might be worth a try.
