we had good fabricators in the shop and made a recessed panel to fit the aero cap into. ( if not recessed cap would make gill sit out from car.), so had to cut hole in car panel and panel bond new panel in place used the cap and some alloi strips to hold in place to set panel bond.
angain if we had thought of this sooner could have spot welded into place and would have seemed factor.
also would have prefered a large hole saw as cutting freehand was ok but not perfect.
