The rpm use is what determines the balncer. Under 6000 rpm, 4v is ok. Over, you need more mass.

Don't believe everything you read in a book.

It's your engine to do as you choose. There is no advantage to a pilot bearing vs a bronze bushing.

Where's Marlin at? Perhaps he would explain?
