To be honest, a Si looks like it's a upgraded
Pantera GT5-S , but it's a total different car the body ,fenders, doors, chassis , suspension , electric wiring , cooling , fuel cell aso all is different .
Only the ZF is the same and I think the rear decklid.
It's the best driving stock Pantera I known
But the only bad is the less powerfull stock 302 HO engine.
Maybe Kirk Evans have seen the Si /2000 Pantera concept on the DT factory and try , what Kirk always is doing , fabricate a better styling kit for the Pantera's
Thats why some people like the Amerisport more than the SI style.
Only Kirk can tell us the truth.

I think Kirk's design might have superseded the SI but I could be wrong. I remember an ad in the DuPont registry that was in the late 80's, early 90's that had a red GT 5-S with this treatment. Kirk has a good eye for design.
