Reply to "Ford EDIS Distributorless Ignition (for Forest G)"

Looks like the 1996-2001 5.0L Explorer crankshaft pulley has the toothed ring attached to it. The Explorer pulley is a serpentine design, so you cannot directly use it. You need to find a way to mount the ring onto your existing harmonic balancer or belt pulley to make it work.

The Megajolt system has the MAP sensor internal to the unit, so you shouldn't have to worry about mounting an external MAP sensor.

A TPS style unit should be used if you have a huge cam, individual throttle bodies or anything else that gives you low or erratic vacuum at idle. All other cases I'd use the MAP sensor style for a load sensor.
