Reply to "Ford multi port electronic fuel injection"

Ray, your question intrigues me: the 351-Cleveland went out of official production in the U.S. in mid-1973. There never WAS a fuel injection system that fit a Cleveland. What you may be thinking of is the throttle body units on 351-Windsor trucks. These will not fit unless you do some adapting as the Windsor intake is too wide for a Cleveland block. A for the multipoint units, they were for a 5 liter Ford and again, won't fit without adaption. In this case the intakes are too narrow for the 351-C. Maybe you saw that beautiful adaption of an injected 5.0 Mustang engine into a black So-Cal Mangusta? All the injected 351-C Panteras I'm aware of use either Dennis Quellas Weber-look-alike system, or are totally custom such as the dual 454 Chev truck throttle-bodies side-mounted on a Magneson- blown stroker.
