Art,
I hate this too! You feel like you put your best effort forward and then...bam, you do it over. When I address envelopes in MS Word, the same thing happens, but I learned to highlight and copy the address, then when the envelope comes out upside down, or backwards, or whatever, I just paste the address back in for a second try. Seems that would work here as well.
