Sean Korb put Cobra R rims on his Pantera and they look nice. His original post to the DT Mail List follows:

He bought four 17" Cobra R rims for $300 bucks and two repro Cobra R rims at 16"x8" for $100 apiece.

Tires:
Sumitomos in 245/45WR-16 and 275/40ZR-17 from Tire Rack for $69.00 and $88.00 apiece respectively. He reports the rears fit great. He could get spacers to bring them further out to the fender, but they aren't as far in as the stock rims were, so he's not concerned. The fronts rub, but not much more than the stock wheels and tires.
