Having been to and participated in both displays, There is no question that the Fremont display is way better. The Orleans hotel is not a good location for the display, despite the fact that the hotel puts out signs advertising the display there is not a lot of public participation at the Orleans.

Yes, there is talk about moving it back to Fremont Street and we "CHPie" will probably try and make that happen next year if more than a hand full of people want to participate. However participation is key to the success just like Larry said. That first year at the Orleans in 2005 "Chpie" mailed out a survey regarding driving over to Fremont Street to prior participants in the display. Out of the 80 surveys mailed out 5 responded and 2 said yes they would drive over to Fremont Street for the display. That is why we have not been back to Fremont Street.
