You buy tires once every 10 years assuming you don't drive them like an 18 year old and follow the 10 year replacement rule. $2500 by 10 is $250 a year. Seems like a reasonable expectation to me when owning a car like this. I just paid $1200 for a set of Michelin's for my 2004 Lexus. Tires no longer cost $75 each guys.
