front end noise

I have the sound of a loud dry creaking noise, like metal against metal, passenger side front. All bushings are brand new, shocks are brand new and nuts have been loosened to test for overtightness. Can it be a ball joint? PI says no. So what else can produce this noise, only once I have driven a couple miles and hit bumps. Thanks for any help. Tom
