The simplest answer for your application is to use an in-tank fuel pump. Then vapor lock won't happen almost regardless of line routing, because the fuel is all under pressure rather than being sucked out of the tank. Vapor lock usually occurs in the non-pressurized portion of fuel lines feeding a remote pump.
Two cautions: use the absolute best components possible avoiding rubber hoses as much as you can, and make all connections as tight as possible, as far away from abrasion points and heat sources as possible. Fuel fires mostly happen in areas that have been modified.
