Stosh, While not 100% sure, I do believe the original was just a plain old leave-it-in-there-till-it-melts rubber fuel line. The braided SS is a big upgrade to help eliminate those little problems like vapor lock and engine fires. Hope to see you at Lime Rock minus the P-car, but with the family in tow. Regards, Bob R.
