If I have understand the differences of narrow and wide band O2 sensors; I think that it is like this:
The narrow band sensor is only accurate around 14.7:1 AFR so it can only show hi/low but not how much. The wide band sensors is mostly accurate from 9.0:1 AFR to free air.
