Reply to "Fuel tank plug"

When I finally did manage to remove my fuel tank drain plug I inserted a powerful magnet inside the hollowed out plug.
Just like an oil drain plug.
I have removed this plug a couple of times since & it has picked up a reasonable amount of rusty metallic particles.
Last time I removed it there was very little, real clean.
Easy way of removing some of the built up debris & helps to keep scale out of the fuel filter.
