FULL STAINLESS EXHAUSTS

I'm thinking about getting into a deal some fellow Deauville owners are setting up, and that is getting a stainless system build including headers. It should come out at € 2.750,00 for the whole system.
Some say you don't need stainless headers but I have heard more than one story of requently having to weld the originals. They never fitted properly judging from the fact that DT had to cut and weld them to fit in the enginebay.
I think the price is ok and many of you say, once in never out, right?
What's to be expected in terms of extra HP and are there any serious drawbacks to stainless headers ?
Remember, these will go into a Deauville which might see some spirited driving but no track use i.e. no real serious heat development.
