Brief history:
Kent and Sandi Snyder retired this year, after 25 years of organizing the Fun Rally. TWENTY FIVE YEARS!! Also passing the torch were Bob and Carol Reid, with about 15 years to their credit.
Our raffle organizer and MC for the past two years has been our well loved Jim 'Coz" Cozzolino.
Taking the over the duties are Judy McCarthy our POCA membership chairman, John Taphorn POCA President and Dave Rudderow, TPOC chapter president.
Out of the blue, without any prior discussion with Coz and nor apparently John or Judy, Dave sent the following to Coz:
Dear Jim,
We all thank you for all your help in the past concerning the Las Vegas Fun Rally!
We will be starting with a clean sheet for 2007 & will come up with a New theme team & new ideas for all the different events to be programmed for Las Vegas, we will love your continued support for the event but will not need your assistance in the rally part of the program.
Thanks again for your past help!!!

Often the new dog in town charges in and in an attempt to assert his newly acquired position lifts his leg and leaves his mark. And often these actions just serve to piss off everyone who was there long before him. If this was Dave's intent, he scored.
But the Raffle is NOT part of the Fun Rally organizers duties, nor is the PCNC Speed Trials, the car show, or the driving events.
Fun Rally organizers pick the location, the dates, the refreshments, parking arrangements, etc.
The matter is now under 'review' by POCA folks higher up the chain than Dictator (er, Director) Dave and I trust he will get his little wee-wee spanked.
Coz has done an excellent Raffle job the last two years, and I truly hope he will return for many years to follow.
