$5k doesn't buy much of a garage in my area, and I need to stack cars to make room. Cheaper lifts are available, but the LAST thing I would want is to 'wish' I had bought the best lift when I go out in the garage and see a $150,000 car sitting on top of a $75,000 car, and one side of the lift (800 lbs of steel) crashed into the Pantera.. At age 50, I've never been sorry for buying the best tool, I have however been sorry for buying a cheap tool.. Take care
