The only non-Pantera fuel tank sender I've ever seen thats close is from the early '70s Alfa Romeo, and it has no low-fuel light circuit either. It also has a shorter float arm but this may be replaceable. Do you still have your OEM sender? The low light circuit should still be operable even if the fuel windings have been messed with. Using a VOM and a battery charger as a 12V source, you ought to be able to trace things out and let the rest of us know. I'd be interested as yours is not the first time this subject has come up.
