A couple of years ago (+/- 5 years) my brother an I did some work on the engine, and as a result we came to 461 HP, and 533 NM
mesured on a superflow dyna bench.
Three weeks ago there was an italian day on a racetrack here in Assen (The Netherlands), and i've noticed that I barely could beat a lamborghini countach, and several ferrari's.
Everyone here must understand that next year things MUST be different!
I'm planning to build an nitrous oxide system on the car for better horsepower (on the long straigt end).
The problem I seem to get is from the transmission, ZF claims in their manual that this gearbox "only" handles 500 HP.
Does anyone here has some experiance here on how far I can go without damaging my gearbox?
