A few highlights, the average temp pull down from the evaporator is 30 degrees. So if the cab is 70 degrees, expect air from the evaporator to be around 50 degrees. This is a general rule of thumb.
Also, R-134 is unstable. Since the condensor on the pantera is in the engine compartment, there is often too much heat and the R-134 pressure spikes. In this case, less is better. By charging the system with less R-134 it does not over pressurize busting hoses and taking oyt the compressors. Some A/C techs are tempted to overcharge a system, creating other problems on 90+ degree days.
