Reply to "Gray 2K Primer??"

Will,

Mike mentions a viscosity cup. its a ladel with a hole in the bottom and you mix the primer and thinner to the ratio the tell you to on the gallon can and then check it by timing it with a watch ..to how fast it drains out of the cup. I pour the primer in to a 5 gallon jug then pour in thinner to about the ratio called for on the can ... some times you have to dump the entire gallon of priemr in and make sure the bottom is clean and the entire gallon is mixed .. some important parts of the paint settle to the bottom.

Grainy means your too thick and too much air. The primer can will tell you ..

Try mixing 50 / 50 and about 35 psi ...what gun are you using ? make sure you have an air seperator on the compressor and disposable on the gun.
