Reply to "Ground Effects"

I'm thinking 1/4" thick aluminum plate is sturdy enough for most applications of experimental ground effects underbody panels.

Another location to affix it to is a bolt on each side of the motor mounts, then, as stated, at least one each from the inboard rear seat mounting bolt under the chassis, then a couple of horse shoe straps over the rear frame sections on each side in the engine compartment.

I hope some measurable results are obtained, or we just waste lots of time and only a little bit of money. Thomas Edison, America's most prolific inventor, made over 1,000 experiments before perfecting the light bulb. Turned out to be a tungsten filament in a vacuum, with an atmosphere purged of oxygen that did the trick.

Fascinating to me. Gee, I want to be more like him!
