Hall had that spoiler listed with and without flares.
I agree that they really should be made out of a very flexable plastic.
There are still a number of manholes in NYS that project out of the pavement 3/4 to 1" or so.
They can be anywhere in the road. All the overpasses in the cloverleafs around Shea Stadium in Flushing, Queens comes to mind.
There is so much going on traffic wise that it is difficult to watch the road surfaces also even though that is so critical to do so.
It isn't just NYC, it can be anywhere.
It can be for any reason. Old existing conditions, shrikage of the road surface, preparation for new paving.
To wipe out the spoiler is one thing. The lower radiator support is another thing altogether.
Also the code that regulates the slope across a sidewalk to enter a gas station is not friendly to the Pantera. Neither are some of the big pumping stations that have thier tank access caps in the traffic pattern.
Did I mention the concrete curbs in parking lots that are 6" high and the sign says park front wheels to curb? Yeah right!
The "road build authorities" seem to have the aditude of the military. We bing back 85%. TS to the dead and the loosers.
One of the gas station filler caps tore off the Borla SS exhaust on my SHO last year and that car is nowhere neat the lowness of the Pantera.
