Just had to throw this into the pot.
An alternative to buying new Carrelo's at $500 a hit or cheap repros, check out your local breakers yard or contact ur nearest Alfa Romeo club and buy the rear taillight lenses off a Alfa Berlina 1750 or 2000 sedan. ( built frm round 1968 to late 70's. These are Carello / Pantera / Fiat lenses.) ...just like many other parts on the Panters's and of course other Italian exotics....door handles, electric switch gear, - its all, or a lot of it, out of the 'corporate parts bin'....
If the lenses are a bit faded frm age, buy some of the special tiny paint vialls that are used by folk making up thier own " stained - glass windows ".....they have exactely the right colors, red & amber... dead easy. I have just done so myself and they look brand new....
