The usual question; How much do you want to spend and how long can you wait?

When it comes to composites Kirk is an absolute whizz, he'd probably lay you one up at a cost but liek everyone he's usually backed up with work.

For strength the aftermarket carbon fiber units are probably best. I don't know if the one PI sells is like their decklid i.e. a CF overlay on fiberglass or a true CF unit. I imagine at the $1K price its a fiberglass overlaid, but at least the CF would strengthen it. Might look good on your black car too, or paint to match.

There was a guy at Monterey with a booth I got talking to and grabbed his card; Robot Racing, he had a true CF one for the Lambo guys. It was dimensionally the same as ours, weighed about as much as a cigarette paper and had a Lambo price tag of around $3K if I recall, but what a beautiful piece. Web site is www.robot-racing.com
