Reply to "Gullwing Motorcars"

Yep, #7024 (Green '74) came from Gullwing Motors this time last year and personally I can't fault them. I understand they are a volume focused, get 'em in & turn 'em around type place, with little or no work done to move them. This to my mind is advantageous as they don't try to dress mutton up to be lamb if you know what I mean.

They never over represented my car and were up front with any obvious issues, although they didn't have any prior history to go on, so they probably didn't know that much, like it turned out to have a 400HP motor in it. Smiler. I got a great deal considering I bought it sight unseen from no more than a few photos. Having said that I got it a price well below their original asking price, at a level where I was prepared to take that chance.

They took care of all the shipping through VIP Transport, whom I was equally impressed with.

The blue '72 appears nice in the photos, I suggest you make contact and shoot them an e-mail or call for additional photos and information; they were very obliging and put the car up on ramps to take underside shots etc. when I was considering my purchase last year. If you decide you don't want the car then share the info on the board, I'm sure someone will be glad of it and I bet Gullwing won't gripe about some free advertising!
